Once at the school she met with school staff, local community volunteers and even a past pupil of her own. She visited our school technology showcase and the school library and Nurture room,
Minister Foley continued on to visit our school kitchen, Ms Gleeson's Kitchen. She spoke to teachers and pupils about their newly published book & website, Cookery Fundays.
Later Minister Foley was shown our school sensory room and free school meal ovens.
Afterwards, Minister Foley visited the school Sensory garden, which was showcased at Bloom Dublin 2022 and transplanted back onto our school grounds afterwards. She continued on to visit our school Stepping Stones Forest, where she planted tree with two sixth class pupils.
Finally, pupils from 3rd class sang a song and Minister Foley spoke to the school community. She highlighted the hard work of the pupils, school staff and the entire community in showcasing such a wonderful, hard working school. It was a very proud day for our school and the extended school community.
