Funky Flapjacks

Recipe

Ingredients for 18 flapjacks:

  • 175g butter
  • 125g brown sugar
  • 55g golden syrup
  • 350g porridge oats

Method:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Put the butter, sugar and syrup in to a saucepan.
  • Heat pan over a low heat stirring until melted.
  • Take pan off heat and add the porridge oats.
  • Stir it all together.
  • Put greaseproof paper into a baking tray.
  • Place the mixture into the tray and press down well.
  • Put in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Take it out and leave to cool for 10 minutes.
  • Cut it into squares.
  • Eat and enjoy!
