Native American People

The Native Americans got their names from nature like Raindrop and Sitting Bull.

Sitting Bull was a famous Native American. He came from a tribe called The Strong Hearts. When The Native Americans had a
battle against the Crow Sitting Bull was badly injured but he
continued to fight. The Strong Hearts made Sitting Bull their chief after he showed his bravery during the battle against Crow. After
lots of fighting with the Europeans, the Europeans made an
agreement with Sitting Bull. The Native Americans got to keep theBlack Hills where they later found gold. So Sitting Bull became a
hero.

Pocahontas was a famous Native American girl. She fell in love  with a European called John Smith who her father  
was about to kill. She got to keep John as a slave in the
beginning but then she fell in love with him after a while. Disney made a famous cartoon about Pocahontas.
