My Favourite Things
Football player

Football, football, football
Fast, furious, fantastic football
Friendly, free play, fiery football
Football, football, football

Scrambler, scrambler, scrambler
Deadly, dangerous, destructive scrambler
Fast, furious, ferocious scrambler
Scrambler, scrambler, scrambler

At Home

At one o’clock I jumped out of bed,
Woops a daisy I bumped my head.

At two o’clock I went out to play.
What had happened?
My friends ran away.

At three o’clock, I ate my dinner.
We had a race and I was the winner.

At four o’clock I watched the telly.
The film was called ‘If I was a Welly’.

At nine o’clock I went to bed.
Cuddled up tight and lay down my head.

Teachers
Teacher and student

Maths, English, Irish, UGH!
Teachers moaning about all that stuff,
Do your homework, sanction one!
Why do teachers ruin all the fun?
Teachers are very, very boring,
Whenever they talk I start snoring.
I hate when they pop up tests,
But when they give me homework off,
They’re simply the best!

December

The days are short
The nights are long
Everyone sings a Christmas song
The bells are ringing
The children are singing to welcome Santa Claus

He comes at night
To our delight
With presents for girls and boys
You have to be good
You know you should
Or else you get no toys
Santa on a chimney

Harry Potter

Wizard hat

Hermoine is very clever,
Her and Harry will be friends forever.

Harry is a great wizard,
And when he gets home he will
Probably turn Dudley into a lizard.

Ron is very shy,
He wouldn’t hurt a fly.

Hogwarts is a great school,
And even the inside looks really cool.

Puppy Puppy

Puppy, puppy turn around
Puppy, puppy jump off the ground
Puppy, puppy say my name
Puppy, puppy play a game
Puppy, puppy bow down low
Puppy, puppy say hello
Puppy, puppy do you like treats?
Puppy, puppy do you want sweets?
Puppy, puppy will you sing?
Puppy, puppy go to the king
Puppy, puppy we are friends
Puppy, puppy let’s play pretend
Puppy, puppy see you again
Puppy, puppy that’s the end.

The Park

It is winter time and all the trees are bare
It is cold outside, I’m freezing
And there is snow everywhere
All the animals are sleeping
And have gathered all their food
I’m going to make a snowman
I’m in a playful mood

Christmas
Christmas tree

How exciting, oh how fun.
Christmas is here, something good has begun.
Just look at the decorations, just look at the snow.
Just look at the presents, I never want it to go.
It’s Christmas Eve, oh I can’t sleep.
So I go down stairs and have a peep.
I look in the living room, Santa is late.
He hasn’t touched his drink
and the cookies are on the plate.
I wake up the next morning full of joy.
I run downstairs and see a big toy.
I rip open the wrapping paper and look it’s for me.
Oh I am so happy I sing with glee.

Candle

I look at it
Shining so bright
As it sits on the table
In the darkness of night
I smile at it
It smiles back at me
As it sits with its friends
So happily
It’s too hot to handle
Hope you know what it is?
It’s a candle
Candle burning

Rabbits
Rabbit

Rabbits are grey
Rabbits are black
Rabbits have soft fur all over their backs

They hop and they jump
Skip and run
They roll in the grass and have such fun.

They like to eat carrots and cabbage too
They live in hutches with their little ones too.

Christmas (2)

Snowflakes are falling from the sky,
They glitter past me all the way by.

We love Christmas, we all love it so,
Top up the tree with a big red bow.

All the presents under the tree,
Lots and lots, just for me!

No more school, hip-hip hooray,
It’s a really, really snowy day.

The Lord was born in a stable,
To find a home his parents were not able.

All the children go out to play,
It’s a really, really joyful day.

All the icicles hanging from the roof,
The snowflakes fall on the ground with a poof.

Butterfly

Butterfly, butterfly in the sky
Butterfly, butterfly up so high
Butterfly, butterfly you make me sigh
Butterfly, butterfly with your little red tie
Butterfly, butterfly I’ll hate to see you die
Butterfly, butterfly that will make me cry
Bot watching butterfly
