Many thanks to all Sacred Heart students, parents, and teachers who participated in the Operation Christmas Child service program this year! 118 wrapped shoeboxes, filled with gifts such as pencils, copies, and small toys, were collected and delivered to a warehouse in West Tallaght on October 28. The boxes will be shipped to needy children in other parts of the world and will arrive on Christmas Day. Mr. Brennan, Mr. McClure, and four senior school students had the privilege to help deliver, unload, and organize the boxes at the warehouse. The Operation Christmas Child service program gave the students of Sacred Heart Senior National School the opportunity to understand the true meaning of Christmas and to put their Catholic faith into practice.
